| body panels. It seems to work much better for aluminum (making it much more pliable and resistant to cracking). Plus, I've read if you're not a pro at the process, you can actually make the steel more brittle if you do it wrong. I will look further into it though, I'm sure a professional would benefit from the process. I thought about getting a front drivers side cut for the car and swapping it in, but because I'm not a professional bodyman, I was unsure where the correct points would be to attempt cutting out/swapping in the new clip. I was afraid to disturb the structural integrity of the car if I cut/spliced in the wrong section. The Z has so many crumple zones with overlapping steel so I was nervous going that route. Couldn't find any specific tutorials online about this, so i figured better not attempt it. In the end, all it really cost me this way was time (and I gained some valuable experience in the process). If I had a cut and some guidance, I may have ended up going that route. Thanks for the suggestions! Jay
